All of this should just about get us started for much of the dishes we will need to shop for. Remember, world cooking does not need to be expensive or hard to find ingredients, one of the great things about living in America is that so many different foods are available to us almost year round. Take advantage of this by using things you may already buy to create dishes that will not only teach your family about other parts of the world, but will bring everyone together to the table. Fast food may be quick and easy, but it is very unhealthy and does not give our families the benefit of cooking together. It also gives us a greater understanding and respect for families in other parts of the world once we "step into their kitchens" and learn how they cook and eat every day.
Make it fun, make it your own and lets start enjoying the Flavor of Russia!!
